Working in partnership with Forests for Cornwall we have planted over 3500 native trees across the site to enhance biodiversity, wildlife habitats and regenerate the once grazing land into a sustainable haven for bees, birds and other creatures. If you are lucky you will see barn owls, skylarks, hares and birds of prey.

Eden Meadows campsite aims to have no impact on the local environment, meaning it is a deliberate choice not to have electric hook ups or lighting, we do have compost toilets, recycling bins and running water. Our 60-day licence means we are only open at certain times of the year, so please check the booking page for our opening days and times. We can accommodate tents, campervans and motorhomes. Fires are allowed but clearly we ask you to be responsible as we don’t want to lose the lovely saplings dotted all around! As per the ethos behind the site, we ask you to leave no trace when you depart ensuring the space is as lovely for our next guests as it was for you.

As mentioned on other pages the ethos behind Eden Meadows is one of calm relaxation, meaning we respect our neighbours and other guests by not playing loud music late into the night. By all means play your tunes at a respectful volume, sit by the fire and play your instruments, sing, chant and generally do your own thing, but please be mindful of others. The long dark sky is perfect for looking out for shooting stars and general galaxy gazing, the days are ideal for lolling about letting the stresses of our busy lives melt away.
